Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Outzider ("Outzider", "we", "us") provides AI-assisted preparation for Nigerian examinations, including JAMB, WAEC, NECO and GCE. The service is available on our website, on WhatsApp and in our mobile app.

By using Outzider in any of these ways, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

2. Who may use Outzider

Outzider is built for students preparing for Nigerian examinations. Many of our users are under 18.

If you are under 18, you may use Outzider only with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian. Any payment must be made by, or with the express approval of, a parent, guardian or other adult responsible for you.

If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for payments made from your account or card, and for supervising your child's use of the service.

3. What Outzider is, and is not

Outzider is a study tool. It provides past examination questions, explanations, practice tests, written-answer feedback and revision reminders.

We do not guarantee any examination result, score, or admission outcome. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to JAMB, WAEC, NECO, or any examination body. We do not supply examination questions in advance, and we never will.

Explanations and grading produced with AI are aids to learning, not official marking. They can be wrong. Always check important answers against your syllabus, textbooks and teachers.

4. Accounts

You sign in with a verified WhatsApp number or email address, and you can connect more than one. Keep access to them secure: anyone who controls them can reach your account. You stay signed in on a device for up to 30 days without use, so sign out on shared devices.

Accounts are for one person. Do not share, sell or transfer your account or plan.

5. Free and paid plans

Outzider has a Free plan with limited daily practice and limited access to some features. We set these limits and may change them. One free account per person: creating several accounts to get around the limits may result in your access being restricted.

Paid plans give access to more features for a fixed period, starting when payment is confirmed. Current plans and prices are shown on our website and on WhatsApp before you pay.

Plans do not renew automatically. When your plan period ends, your account returns to the Free plan, your progress is kept, and we let you know. We will never charge you without a new, explicit purchase.

Seat codes. A lecture centre that works with Outzider may give you a seat code when you pay its fees. Each code works once and adds the stated number of days of paid access to your account. It must be used before the date the centre gives you. The fee you pay a centre is between you and that centre; questions about it, including refunds, go to the centre. If a centre's payment to us is reversed, codes from that payment that have not been used stop working.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not see or store your card details. Prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and may change; any change applies to future purchases, never to a plan period you have already paid for.

If your payment succeeds but your plan does not activate, email support@outzider.net with your payment reference and we will resolve it. Our systems also reconcile payments automatically.

7. Refunds

Because access is granted immediately and digital content is used at once, we do not generally offer refunds for a change of mind.

We will refund you where you were charged more than once for the same plan, where you paid but access was never granted and we cannot fix it, or where the service is materially unavailable for a prolonged period during your paid plan.

To request a refund, email support@outzider.net with your payment reference.

8. Messages you receive from us

We reply to messages you send. We also send account notices, such as sign-in codes, payment confirmations and a notice when your plan ends, by email or WhatsApp.

With your consent, we may also send revision reminders and daily practice prompts. You can stop these at any time by replying STOP. Stopping reminders does not cancel your plan or delete your account; you can still use the service normally.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Outzider for anything other than your own study.
• Attempt to extract, scrape, bulk-copy or resell our question bank or explanations.
• Use the service to cheat in a live examination, or to help anyone else do so.
• Send abusive, harassing, unlawful or sexually explicit content.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
• Impersonate another person, or create accounts to abuse free plans, referrals or partner rewards.

We may suspend or end access, without refund, for serious or repeated breaches.

10. Referrals and partners

You may invite friends using your referral link. Rewards are at our discretion and may change. Self-referral, fake accounts and other manipulation void rewards and may result in suspension.

Teachers, centres, schools and other education partners who join the Outzider Partner Programme are also bound by the programme rules we provide when they are approved. A centre that buys seats pays before codes are issued, may give codes only to its own students and may not resell them. Codes must be used within the period stated when they are issued, and unused seats are not refunded.

11. Our content

Past examination questions remain the property of their respective examination bodies. Our explanations, software, design, and the structure and compilation of our materials are ours. You may use them for your personal study only.

12. Availability

We aim to keep Outzider running, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. We depend on third parties, including WhatsApp, app stores, our AI, email, hosting and payment providers, and on your network connection. Features may change or be withdrawn as the product develops.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, we are not liable for examination results, admission outcomes, lost study time, or indirect or consequential losses. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Ending your use

You can stop using Outzider at any time. To have your account and data deleted, send DELETE on WhatsApp or email privacy@outzider.net. See our Privacy Policy for how that works.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, or if we must for legal or safety reasons.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and we will tell you about significant changes on the website and, where we can, by email or WhatsApp. Continuing to use Outzider after a change means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
